It just goes to show that you don’t always need complicated, high-end gear to create lovely videos!
It’s fairly old news, with the video released about a year ago, but it’s something we simply couldn’t pass up on! Theo Putzu, a filmmaker and photographer from Barcelona, has been able to create a music video for the dream-pop group Diverting Duo’s song “Outset” using only a Lomokino! On the video’s Vimeo page, Putzu revealed that he had used a total of 20 rolls of films, or an astounding 2,200 photos, to create the three minute-long lo-fi, dreamy music video!
Ready, set go! This LomoKino video is as cheery and uplifting as it is entertaining. Watch it.
This fresh LomoKino trailer was of course shot entirely on 35mm film, and laid with a cheerful, trippy and catchy tune that will hearten you to make short movies of your own.
LomoKino Movie of the Day - Times Square
A couple of months ago, Lomography teamed up with Oklahoma-based band Broncho in creating the music video or their song “Losers.” The music video was shot using our very own LomoKino, yielding attention-grabbing, stop-motion results. See for yourself.
